Sky Italia understands that AC Milan have a deal in place to sign Brazilian defender Alex from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Rossoneri were desperate to sign a high-quality centre-back ahead of the new season and they seem to have succeeded in their quest.
According to Sky Italia, Paris Saint-Germain defender Alex has decided to join AC Milan when his current deal expires in the summer.
Many were surprised to see the former Chelsea stopper not being offered a new deal at Parc des Princes given that the 31-year-old has largely impressed since arriving from Stamford Bridge.
He has made a total of 63 Ligue 1 appearances for the Saints, scoring 6 goals in the process, while featuring in 14 Champions League fixtures.
Having qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals for the second year running, Paris Saint-Germain can be backed at 9/1 to lift the coveted title at Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.
