Milan are weighing up summer moves for Genoa duo Juraj Kucka and Luca Antonelli, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
After a number of senior players left the club, the Rossoneri chiefs decided to make a u-turn in their transfer strategy.
Rather than spending large amounts of money on world-class players, they opted to focus on talented footballers with a bright future ahead of them.
The impressive progress the likes of Stephan El Shaarawy and M’Baye Niang have made this season proved Milan chiefs are on the right track and they are even more determined to further rejuvenate the current squad.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that the Rossoneri are now planning a swoop for Genoa duo Juraj Kucka and Luca Antonelli.
Milan have already opened talks for the Slovakian midfielder and they are prepared to offer around €5 million for 50% of the player’s contract.
Genoa are holding out for €8 million, but the two parties are, nonetheless, expected to reach an agreement in the coming weeks.
Full-back Luca Antonelli is another player who could end up at San Siro, although the two sides have yet to talk about the talented defender.
