Sampdoria forward Stefano Okaka Chuka has emerged as AC Milan’s primary target for the January window, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new striker and they seem to have made the 25-year-old their top target.
Both Adriano Galliani and Pippo Inzaghi have been impressed with the player’s performances this season and they aim to lure him to Stadio San Siro at the earliest opportunity.
Sampdoria boss Sinisa Mihajlovic will not be too keen on letting his star footballer leave, but with Okaka already telling club chiefs that he would not be extending his deal that expires in June 2016, a January exit appears on the cards.
The Rossoneri aim to sweeten the deal by sending former Sampdoria star Giampaolo Pazzini in the opposite direction, which could prove decisive, especially considering that the Bluecercchiati also plan to lure Antonio Cassano back to Marassi in January.
Stefano Okaka has scored 7 goals in 24 league outings since joining the club, while also netting on his Italy debut against Albania in midweek.
