Milan to nab Traore for free

AC Milan are set to sign Nancy midfielder Bakaye Traore on a free transfer in the summer, according to a report.

The Mali international has impressed for the Ligue 1 side this term, and has drawn interest from Newcastle, Aston Villa, Lille and Marseille, according to L’Equipe.

Traore is out of contract at the end of the season, and this will allow him to freely jump ship on a free transfer in the upcoming transfer window.

The San Siro club have reportedly won the battle for the midfielder’s signature, tying him to a three-year deal which will come in effect in the summer.

There has been no confirmation of the deal from either club, but it looks increasingly likely that Traore will leave the French outfit at the end of the campaign.
