(GSM) – Serie A giants Milan have made it clear that they want to keep Ronaldinho and Thiago Silva, despite reports suggesting that the duo are set to leave the San Siro this summer.

Club owner Silvio Berlusconi is certain that Ronaldinho will be staying with the Italian giants for the rest of his career despite enduring an indifferent campaign last term with fitness problems and lack of consistency, which have helped reignite speculation about a possible move away.

Los Angeles Galaxy are understood to be keeping close tabs on Ronaldinho and reports suggest that Milan would try to recruit Robinho, on loan at Santos from Manchester City, if the former world player of the year departed.

Meanwhile, centre back Thiago Silva has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Jose Mourinho a keen admirer of the 25-year-old. The Rossoneri have previously rejected the Spanish club’s advances saying they would not be selling.

“AC Milan confirm yet again that Ronaldinho and Thiago Silva are absolutely not for sale,” the Serie A club said in a statement.
