Milan’s objective is Champions League

Carlo Ancelotti did his best to give fans assurances of his commitment to the side and the side to him. “Next year, I see Milan in the Champions League and the current manager still sitting on the bench,” he began sardonically. “Being knocked out by Werder hurt, but now we know our objective is to finish in the top three”.

“There was no shouting match with Galliani and no one pushed me around. It was made clear that the club must play in the Champions League next season and that’s what we will fight for, without worrying about the title,” he added.

“I hope Gattuso will be back soon, but it has been the defence that has suffered the most.”
