(GSM) – Milan coach Leonardo believes his side are still on course to win the Scudetto this season despite going three matches without a victory.
The Rossoneri missed the opportunity to go top nearly two weeks ago and have since dropped to third place in Serie A.
They lie three points adrift of League leaders Inter ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Cagliari.
“Recent results have not been good but we are still three points from the top and two from Roma who are perhaps the healthiest team out of the three,” Leonardo explained.
Milan boss explained that there will be more chances for them, “Moreover, we will have the chance to prepare for just one game a week while Inter could play 13 more matches and Roma nine from now until the end of the season.”
“It’s all open,” he added.
Leonardo then commented on reports linking him with a move away from Milan in the summer.
“I will speak about my future when it’s more important than the present,” he concluded.
