Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik is reportedly considering a move to Chievo on a short-term loan while he continues to recover from a knee ligament injury, according to ESPN.
The Poland international has had a frustrating spell at Napoli with injuries preventing him from stringing together any significant game time or good form. This seasons marks the striker’s second campaign in Naples and to date he has made just 28 appearances for the club. Despite his injuries however Milik has bagged 10 goals in all competitions and is a popular player with the Naples faithful.
The striker made the switch to Italy after a hugely impressive 2015-16 season at Ajax in which he found the back of the net 21 times in the Eredivisie. However as he now continues his recovery from a knee injury Milik is likely to join Serie A side Chievo in order to try and return to the form that earned him his move to Napoli.
