Bayer Leverkusen forward Arkadiusz Milik seems on the verge of making his stay at Amsterdam Arena permanent, De Telegraaf has learned.
The Polish youngster joined Ajax on a season-long loan following a difficult start to his career at Bay Arena, and he has since been in fine form, scoring 5 goals in 6 Eredivisie outings.
The Dutch giants need to let Bayer Leverkusen know by January whether they plan to exercise the €2.5 million buy-out clause, but everything suggests they will not pass up the opportunity to sign the forward on permanent basis.
Arkadiusz Milik and his agents have reportedly already agreed a long-term deal with Ajax, and all that’s left is for the minor details to be sorted.
The 20-year-old, who made just six substitute appearances in Bundesliga since joining from Gornik Zabrze, is already considered an important member of the Poland national team and has scored 2 goals in 3 Euro 2016 qualifiers.
