Diego Milito’s agent insists his client will not leave Inter in the January transfer window, despite speculation over the veteran’s future.
The Argentina international is no longer an automatic choice with the side, and reports have linked the striker with a transfer in the new year.
However, the 32-year-old’s representative Fernando Hidalgo has stated that the former Real Zaragoza and Genoa attacker will not be parting company with Claudio Ranieri’s men in the winter transfer window.
“Milito will not move in January,” he told Calciomercato.
“Any interested clubs will have to wait until at least the summer.”
The Argentine forward is in line to make his 100th competitive appearance for Inter on Wednesday night against CSKA Moscow, as the Serie A giants look to end their Champions League Group B schedule with three points.
Ranieri’s side have already qualified for the knockout stages as group winners.
