Inter Milan forward Diego Milito has hosed down claims he is set to exit the Serie A club in January.
The Argentina striker, who started in Tuesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw against Trabzonspor, has been linked with a transfer after failing to earn regular action for Inter this campaign.
Milito has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille, but the 32-year-old has his sights firmly set on staying with Inter.
“I don’t know how these rumours of me leaving Inter came around. I am tranquil and I am very happy playing for the Nerazzurri,” Milito told the press.
“I am only focused on working hard for Inter and I am not thinking of anything else.”
“There is plenty of competition at the club. It is difficult being on the bench, but I am working to play.”
Inter travel to Siena on Sunday in Serie A, with Milito keen to add to his five league starts this campaign.
