Millwall 21/20 to beat Bolton in Tuesdays Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Millwall to beat Bolton

Odds: 21/20 @ Bet365

Two teams that came up together from League One last season, Bolton and Millwall are now involved in battles at different ends of the Championship table.

For Phil Parkinson’s Bolton sides, although the Trotters may have come up automatically last season, the Whites now find themselves in a late battle to secure their Championship status. With their recent form showing cause for concern, Bolton have are coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat away at Derby last weekend, the Trotters have now lost their last three matches on the bounce and have recorded just a single win in their last eight Championship outings. It has been Bolton’s form in the final third that has been their biggest issue, Bolton’s Adam La Fondre is the clubs top scorer with just five goals this season.

As for Neil Harris’ Millwall side, after winning the League One play-off final last season, the Blues have been arguably the divisions stand out side and a the prospect of a shocking back to back promotions. Now just a single point adrift of the top-six, Harris’ side have been in scintillating form, the Blues have now not been beaten in their last 11 outings and have won eight of those matchups. It has been their form in the final third of late that has caught the eye, top scorer Lee Gregory has two in his last four and Millwall have now scored two goals in their last three games in a row.
