According to The Sun (print edition, page 61, October 18, 2020), Millwall are interested in signing Ryan Yates from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window. It has been reported that the Lions were looking to secure the services of the 22-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window, and that they remain keen on the youngster.
Yates has been on the books of Forest his entire professional club football career so far, although he has been out on loan at a number of teams over the years. The 22-year-old was on loan at Barrow, Shrewsbury Town, Notts County and Scunthorpe United.
According to WhoScored, Yates has provided one assist in three Championship games for Forest so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the 22-year-old made 16 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the league for the Reds, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored, while in 2018-19, he scored one goal in 16 league matches.
