The Metro understands that James Milner is yet to be offered a new contract at Liverpool.
The thirty-three-year-old has been one of the Reds’ stand out performers since signing from Manchester City in the summer of 2015, not least last term when he featured in twelve Champions League games en route to the club clinching their sixth title.
However, despite his representatives being keen to negotiate a new deal, there has been nothing put on the table by the club.
Since arriving at Anfield, Milner has played one hundred and seventy-seven times in all competitions, scoring twenty-two goals while with previous club City he won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
He has been capped sixty-one times by England, with his one and only international goal so far coming in a 5-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Moldova back in September 2012.
