(GSM) – Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has revealed that his side would be delighted to be drawn against England in the group stage of South Africa 2010 World Cup.
As the footballing world turns its focus to Cape Town, where the World Cup 2010 draw will take place on Friday evening, Ghana coach disagreeing with England midfielder Steven Gerrard, who claimed it was time other nations start fearing The Three Lions, said he isn’t too impressed with England but sure does fear 5-times World champions Brazil.
“England have a very good coach but I think Ghana playing England wouldn’t be a problem,” says the Serbian.
“Any team is okay but I don’t like Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Serbia.
“These teams play very good and I’d like to avoid them in the group phase. Maybe in the quarter-finals or later on.”
“Serbia is a very good team and strong and experienced too.”
Ghana are only guaranteed not to play the other five African teams in the draw: Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and hosts South Africa.
