Minute 9: GOAL NETHERLANDS (1-0) DIRK KUYT puts the Dutch in front early! Rafael van der Vaart sends in a corner kick to the near post, but Malouda was clueless where the ball was and Kuyt beat him to the spot to head home.

Minute 6: Florent Malouda puts in a cross for Ribéry, but the header is wide. France looking much better already.

Minute 2: Franck Ribéry sends in a free kick, but the ball goes over to the Dutch.

Pre-Game: France had a poor showing in their goalless draw with Romania in their opener, and they make three changes to their squad, including both central attackers. Both Karim Benzema and Nicolas Anelka are on the bench with Thierry Henry now up front and Sidney Govou likely not far behind him while Patrice Evra is preferred at left-back to Eric Abidal.
