Mirallas urges Lukaku to stay put

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas has urged fellow Belgium international Romelu Lukaku to pen a new contract at Goodison Park, according to the Express.

The twenty-three year old has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside outfit this summer, with former club Chelsea eyeing the situation but a bid has not yet been lodged.

Toffees’ manager Ronald Koeman has said that the former West Bromwich Albion loanee would be staying at the club for at least another season, just before he came off the bench to help his side come from a goal down to beat the Baggies on Saturday afternoon.

Having spent a season with the West Midlands outfit Lukaku, who began his career in his native Belgium with Anderlecht moved to Everton initailly on loan in the summer of 2014 and has since racked up one hundred and twenty-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring sixty one goals.
