Newcastle United have slapped a £20m price tag on Aleksander Mitrovic, according to Sky Sports.
The Serbia international spend the second half of the season on loan at Fulham last term and played a big part in them securing promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs with twelve goals in seventeen appearances.
He was signed by Newcastle after scoring forty-four goals in ninety games for Anderlecht which came after a prolific spell in his home country, but he struggled to recreate such form at St James’s Park.
The twenty-three-year-old is currently preparing for his country’s first game at this summer’s World Cup finals in Russia, where he will be keen to add to his international goals tally of sixteen goals in thirty-seven outings.
Serbia begin their campaign with a match against Costa Rica in Samara, where Mitrovic can be backed at a price of 10/3 to get the first goal of the game.
