(GSM) – Mjällby lost touch with the top two teams in the Swedish leagues following a goalless draw with Kalmar.

In order to remain at three points from leaders Helsingborg, Mjällby needed a win in their home match with troubled Kalmar on Thursday.

Neither side could make the difference however, leaving Mjällby in shared third place while Kalmar are in 14th and are yet to win a game.

GAIS entered the top five with a 2-1 win over Gefle. Fredrik Lundgren and Wanderson scored for the home side, and only Jonatan Berg did so for the guests.
