The Mirror understand that Arsenal could be set to offload Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the summer, as they look to free up funds for new additions.
The Armenia international has failed to produce his best form since signing for the Gunners from Manchester United last January, in a part-exchange deal that saw Alexis Sanchez move in the opposite direction.
Unai Emery is looking to strengthen his squad once the transfer window and selling Mkhitaryan would reduce their wage bill by about £180,000-per-week.
Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium, the thirty-year-old has played forty-four times in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
Mesut Ozil has also been linked with a move away from the North London club, with his weekly wage standing at £300,000.
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Monday evening, with the visit of Newcastle United and the home win can be backed at a price of 4/11.
