Sporting Kansas City and Philadelphia Union both blew a chance to move clear on top of the MLS Eastern Conference on Friday, drawing 1-1.
The point they earned did move Kansas to the top of the standings, but only on goal difference from Columbus Crew, with both teams locked on 41 points, while Philadelphia are just one point behind the pair in third.
Both Philadelphia and Columbus, however, have a game in hand on the new leaders.
Omar Bravo put the hosts ahead 11 minutes into the second half at Livestrong Sporting Park, but Sebastien Le Toux levelled for Philadelphia just after the hour mark to ensure a share of the spoils.
Kansas take on Columbus at home on Wednesday in a match that will go a long way to deciding who takes the honours in the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia host DC United on Thursday.
