Modric determined to stay at Real Madrid

According to a recent report from Marca, Luka Modric is determined to stay at Real Madrid and would even accept a pay cut in order to do so.

The veteran midfielder had previously been linked with a move to Inter Milan, to the point where it seemed like an inevitability that he would be departing the Bernabeu. Alas, that didn’t quite come to fruition, and now he’s more eager than ever before to keep his place in the first team squad.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man clearly recognises the work that Zinedine Zidane is putting in to try and turn Real into the best side in world football once again. Sure, Modric may not have many years left at the highest level, but he wants to influence this team as much as he possibly can before he finally decides to ride off into the sunset after a truly incredible career.
