Luka Modric has slammed Cristiano Ronaldo and feels there is no place in the game for his theatrics on the field, The Daily Mirror reported.
He said: “He really overdoes the theatrical bits. In England, where fairness is especially kept in mind and where a masculine, fair game is the law, such whining stands out even more. I don’t know what good it will do him.”
“Modric admits he was prepared to take a penalty in the shootout despite missing for Croatia in Euro 2008. He said: “I would have had a go if we’d gone into sudden-death.”
