According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan could be interested in trying to sign Luka Modric again after failing to do so during the summer transfer window. The Real Madrid midfielder has been on fire over the last twelve months, helping both Real to win the Champions League and Croatia to reach the World Cup final. He may not be a spring chicken anymore in terms of his age, but he’s certainly still a capable player and could do a job for any top team across Europe.
The reports in question are suggesting that Modric, alongside a handful of other players, is unhappy with the current situation at the Bernabeu in reference to manager Julen Lopetegui and the way he sets up the team. If he made the move to Inter he’d likely have a little bit more freedom, which is probably something that would be quite appealing to the veteran at this stage in his career.
