Modric’s agent believes he’ll end up in Italy

According to Tuttosport, Luka Modric’s agent has revealed that he believes the Croatian playmaker will eventually end up in Italy. There has been a great deal of speculation linking the World Cup finalist with a move to Inter Milan over the course of the last few weeks, and now, it seems as if it could be moving a step closer to becoming a reality.

Marko Naletilic, his agent, stated that the fact Modric even considered the move is an indication of the effect Cristiano Ronaldo is already having on Serie A. Real Madrid seem to be adamant that they aren’t going to sell Modric this summer but despite that, Modric could seemingly make the move before he calls it a day on his playing career.

Naletilic also noted that Luka grew up watching Italian football, which was supposedly the case for a lot of young Croatian fans of his generation.
