Monaco 11/8 to beat RB Leipzig in Tuesday’s Champions League battle

Competition: Champions League

Market: Monaco to beat RB Leipzig

Odds: 11/8 @ Bet365

The Champions League returns for another round of games as the competition heats up. Most teams are still in with a chance of qualifying for the knock-out stages, which means that a win in their fifth game is vital, as no side wants to be playing in a dead rubber in their final match. One group in which any side can still go through is Group G, where Monaco will host RB Leipzig on Tuesday.

Monaco have been very poor this season as their form from their last European campaign has deserted them. The Ligue 1 side currently sit in fourth-place in their group with just two points from their four games. Despite being in good form in their domestic league, they have found Europe a tough place to win, scoring just three goals and conceding seven. While they can still qualify for the knock-out rounds, they will need to win against RB Leipzig and hope that Besiktas do not lose to Porto.

For RB Leipzig, things are better, although only slightly. After four games they have collected four points, winning once, drawing once and losing twice. They have scored just five goals so far and conceded eight times, which shows that they are in very poor form this season. However, a win over Monaco could kickstart their campaign, and if group-leaders Besiktas beat Porto, then Leipzig will be in a very good position to make it out of their group. However, with home advantage, we are backing Monaco to get back to winning ways with odds of 11/8 from Bet365.
