According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Ligue 1 side Monaco have agreed to a deal with AC Milan over the transfer of Franck Kessie. Despite this, though, the midfielder has yet to agree specific terms with the club, and as a result, they are also still looking into the possibility of signing Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Kessie has been linked with a move away from the Italian club throughout the course of the summer, with Wolverhampton Wanderers being pinpointed as a possible destination for him. In the end, though, that didn’t quite come to fruition, which has swung the door wide open for Monaco to try and pounce.
The Ligue 1 contenders certainly aren’t shy about opening up the bank and going after the big names, as they appear to be on the verge of a few major signings with just a matter of days remaining until the window shuts until January.
