Le 10 Sport is reporting that AS Monaco are set to launch a fresh assault on Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk.
The Principality Club could stay without both Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez this summer, meaning they could be in need of attacking reinforcements.
With that in mind, Monaco officials look ready to reignite their interest in Brazil star Hulk, who is believed to be looking for a way out of Russia.
The 27-year-old seems to have regretted a move to Zenit, despite succeeding in raising his form after a difficult start.
Hulk went on to make 42 league appearances for the Russian giants, scoring 24 goals in the process, before starting all five games for Brazil at the 2014 World Cup.
Having previously been in talks with Monaco, it is thought that the powerful forward is ready to consider an offer from Stade Louis II, although finding an agreement with Zenit could prove to be a tall order.
