Monaco are on the verge of signing Andreas Wolf from Werder Bremen with the defender undergoing a medical at the Ligue 2 club.
The 29-year-old’s agent confirmed to SID that his client is currently in Monaco to undergo tests and hold further talks ahead of an increasingly probable transfer.
Wolf, who arrived in Bremen from Nuremberg last summer, made 15 Bundesliga appearances during the first half of the season to help his club into fifth spot on the table.
Should he join Monaco, the centre-back will provide much-needed defensive cover to the Ligue 2 side, who are currently 18th in the table.
