Monaco, Dortmund vying for Alassane Plea

Monaco and Borussia Dortmund are among clubs showing interest in Nice forward Alassane Plea, according to France Football.

The 25-year-old was in stunning form last season, scoring 21 goals and producing another 7 in 49 competitive outings.

Plea has since announced he planned to follow coach Lucien Favre through the exit door at Stade Allianz Riviera, and he has no shortage of suitors at the moment.

Monaco are the latest side to have joined the chase, while Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Borussia M’gladbach are also keen.

According to reports, Nice are holding out for €20 million, and les Aiglons will also need to replace Mario Balotelli, who is expected to leave the club for greener pastures as well.
