Spanish radio station Cadena SER is reporting that Monaco are keeping close tabs on Barcelona defender Dani Alves.
The French club has been linked with a number of high-profile players in the past few weeks and it appears they are also targeting the Brazilian footballer.
According to Cadena SER, the Principality club have already established first contacts with the player’s representatives.
Dani Alves has a contract until June 2015 at Camp Nou, but it would appear as though he is no longer considered a key member of the squad.
Alves could be interested in a lucrative proposal from Monaco, especially if the French club succeed in their attempt to sign Radamel Falcao and Carlos Tevez.
The 30-year-old has spent last five years at Camp Nou having joined the club from Sevilla, and has clocked up 160 La Liga appearances for the Catalans, scoring 12 goals in the process.
