France Football is reporting that Monaco are lining up a summer bid for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
It is no secret the Principality club plan to sign a new number one in the summer transfer window and they have been linked with a host of high-profile shot-stoppers in the past.
According to France Football, Monaco have made Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris their primary target and have contacted the player’s representatives to see whether the 27-year-old would be interested in a switch to Stade Louis II.
And while Spurs are not too keen on selling their prized asset, it is believed the Frenchman is eager to play Champions League football, meaning an offer from Monaco could appeal to him.
Hugo Lloris has largely impressed since joining Spurs from Lyon and has so far made 53 Premier League appearances for the club.
Following weekend’s defeat to Norwich, odds on Tottenham to finish in top four have drifted to 9/2.
