Ligue 1 runners up Monaco are showing interest in Lorient stars Vincent Aboubakar and Bruno Ecuele Manga, reports L’Equipe.
Having sold Emmanuel Riviere to Newcastle, the Principality club plan to sign a back up to Radamel Falcao and they seem to have set their sights on the Cameroon striker.
Vincent Aboubakar was in stunning form last season, scoring 16 goals in 35 league appearances for les Merlus before starting all three fixtures for the Indomitable Lions at the 2014 World Cup.
At the same time, Monaco are looking at his teammate Bruno Ecuele Manga as they look to add some fresh blood to their back line.
The 26-year-old will be out of contract next summer, meaning he should be available at a reasonable price in the summer transfer window.
Monaco officials will have a perfect opportunity to take another look at their targets when the two sides square off at Stade Louis II tomorrow evening, with the Principality club 2/5 favourites to claim maximum points.
