Monaco go after Perisic

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Ligue 1 side Monaco are interested in the possibility of signing Ivan Perisic this summer. It had been said that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were both interested in signing the Croatia international this summer, which would make sense, given that Perisic himself has stated he is in favour of a move to the English Premier League. However, with neither side really making a substantial bid or general effort to sign him, the door has been swung wide open for the likes of Monaco to swoop in and try to claim him.

Perisic is considered by many to be one of the most underrated midfielders in world football today, which is why equally as many pundits and fans are surprised to see that he hasn’t been snapped up by one of the bigger sides.

Either way, though, it seems like this saga is far from reaching a conclusion.
