French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Monaco are set to launch a fresh assault on Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal.
Les Gones chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has been bragging about the captures of Alex Morgan (women) and Memphis Depay over the last few days, but he could now stay without an important footballer.
Namely, with Rachid Ghezzal’s contract due to expire in less than six months, top European sides are drafting up offers for the Algeria international.
Paris Saint-Germain, Everton and West Ham are just some of his suitors, with Monaco the latest club to have joined the chase.
The Principality club could see a couple of high-profile footballers leave in the near future, and they, therefore, see the Algerian as a potentially very good addition to the squad.
Rachid Ghezzal, 24, has already left his mark on senior level, scoring 13 goals and setting up another 18 in 100 competitive outings for les Gones.
