Chelsea captain John Terry is the latest player to be linked with a big money move to Monaco, according to the Telegraph.
The club, who last season secured promotion back to Ligue 1, have already secured the signings of Colombian duo Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, and Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho.
They also last week added Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho to their ranks, who partnered Terry at Stamford Bridge for six seasons between 2004 and 2010; the pair winning eight major trophies together in that time.
The former England captain also played under Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri for four years at the beginning of the 2000’s.
Terry was used sparingly by Rafael Benitez during his time at Chelsea, with the former England skipper amassing just eleven league starts in total last season, though he has stated that he intends to see out his contract with the Europa League winners, which expires next summer.
