Ligue 1 giants Monaco are keen on signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe, according to L’Equipe.
The Principality club have focused their transfer strategy on signing talented footballers at bargain prices and the Saints starlet definitely fits the bill.
Monaco scouts have clearly been impressed with Kimpembe’s performances for the PSG reserves and they expressed their desire to recruit the 20-year-old in the January transfer window.
However, they were told that the Saints still counted on the talented defender, and had no plans to let him leave any time soon.
L’Equipe claims that other top clubs have been showing interest in Kimpembe, but, as things stand now, he is not available for sale.
The centre-back has shown a great deal of potential since coming through the youth ranks at Parc des Princes, making 34 appearances for the reserve side.
He also started the Coupe de France game against Wasquehal as well as the Ligue 1 fixture vs Lorient.
