According to a recent report from L’Equipe, French side Monaco are interested in signing two different Premier League stars before the end of the summer transfer window on September 2nd. The first of those two names is Chelsea’s own Tiemoue Bakayoko, with the other being Mario Lemina. Both players had previously been linked with moves away from their respective clubs during the window, with Lemina supposedly being on the verge of a switch to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Deadline Day.
That didn’t quite come to fruition, leaving the door wide open for Monaco to swoop in and make their own impact.
Monaco have been unable to secure several of their top targets over the course of the last few months, but if they can secure a few big names before the window shuts, they should be a bit more optimistic ahead of what is set to be another challenging season over in Ligue 1.
