French giants Monaco are the latest club to have joined the race for FC Porto midfielder Fernando, according to Portuguese daily Record.
The Brazilian midfielder’s contract at Estadio do Dragao is due to expire at the end of the current campaign, and everything suggests he will not be signing a new deal.
According to Record, Monaco have prepared a lucrative offer for the highly rated midfielder in an attempt to lure him to Stade Louis II.
Namely, the Principality club are readying a three-year contract worth between €5m and €6m per campaign for the player who will have no shortage of offers if he decides to leave FC Porto.
Manchester United, Inter Milan and few other top European clubs have been showing interest in the 26-year-old footballer.
