Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo has learned that Monaco are the latest high-profile club to have shown interest in Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.
The 28-year-old will be a free agent when his contract at Ajaccio expires in less than two weeks and he will have no shortage of offers as he looks for a new club.
According to O Jogo, French giants Monaco are considering a move on the highly rated shot-stopper.
It is no secret the Principality club are on the lookout for a new number one and they seem to have given up on Victor Valdes due to his injury problems.
And having been impressed by Ochoa’s performances for Mexico at the 2014 World Cup, Monaco will attempt to lure him to Stade Louis II this summer.
After keeping clean sheet against both Cameroon and Brazil, ‘Super Memo’ is available at 12/5 not to concede against Croatia on Monday.
