Monaco join race for Llorente

Juventus striker Fernando Llorente is being linked with a summer move to Monaco, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Spaniard is almost certain to quit the Bianconeri this summer, seeing as Paulo Dybala has already joined and the likes of Simone Zaza and Domenico Berardi are nearing the return to Turin.

And while Llorente hopes to return to Spanish La Liga, where he enjoyed a great deal of success with Athletic Bilbao, the latest reports suggest Monaco have joined the chase for his services.

The Principality club saw Dimitar Berbatov leave the club and they are now desperate to recruit a proven goalscorer.

Fernando Llorente did well to prove his worth at Juventus, scoring 23 goals in 65 Serie A outings, while netting three times in the Champions League.

However, he went on to lose the regular starting berth to Alvaro Morata midway through last season and his spell with the Old Lady is clearly drawing to a close.
