French champions Monaco have made a move on Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, according to Turkish media outlet Fanatik.
The 30-year-old is set to leave the Catalans in the upcoming transfer window and he was heavily linked with a return to Galatasaray.
However, latest reports suggest that Monaco have joined the race as well and they already established initial contact.
Super agent Jorge Mendes has also been involved in the negotiations, which is enough to suggest the Principality club are serious about luring Arda Turan to Stade Louis II.
The Turkey star never quite managed to prove his worth at Camp Nou, although the reality is he was never given a real chance to shine.
