Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep was the subject of an official proposal from Monaco in the summer transfer window, Le 10 Sport can reveal.
The 23-year-old had a long list of suitors this summer, with West Ham and Swansea among club to have attempted to secure his services.
It has now been revealed that Monaco had a €15 million proposal rejected for the highly rated forward, while the player himself was not too keen on moving to the Principality.
With Arsenal and Chelsea also reportedly hot on the trail of the France international, it looks as though Ntep is holding out for a big club move.
The Auxerre youth academy graduate moved to Rennes in January 2014 and he didn’t need a lot of time to prove his worth at Stade de la Route de Lorient.
Ntep went on to score 16 goals in his first 50 Ligue 1 appearances for les Bretons, while also earning two France caps.
