Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are set to make a move on Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder, L’Equipe has learned.
The Principality club are set to cash in on starlet James Rodriguez and they see the Netherlands international as a very good replacement.
Galatasaray see Sneijder as a key member of the squad, but they are ready to consider offers in the region of €20 million.
The 30-year-old has been constantly linked with Europe’s top clubs ever since he left Inter for Turkey in January 2013, with the midfielder proving he still has what it takes to play at the highest level with some excellent displays for Oranje at the 2014 World Cup.
Wesley Sneijder was in stunning form for Galatasaray last term, having managed 12 goals and 7 assists in 28 Super Lig fixtures before starting six games for Netherlands as they achieved a third-place finish at the World Cup finals.
