French giants Monaco are still trying to persuade star midfielder Jeremy Toulalan to extend his stay at Stade Louis II, L’Equipe has learned.
The experienced footballer will have a decision to make seeing as his current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
And while Italian media believe that Toulalan already has an agreement to join Inter Milan at the end of the season, the reality is he has yet to make up his mind.
Back in February, Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev told L’Equipe that the club were in talks with the player’s agents over a new deal, and the Principality club still haven’t given up hope of keeping hold of their prized asset.
Having won last three league matches to climb to third in the Ligue 1 standings, Monaco can be backed at 19/20 to defeat top 3 rivals Saint Etienne tomorrow evening and edge closer to another Champions League qualification.
