Ligue 1 champions Monaco have announced the signing of Swiss goalkeeper Diego Benaglio from Wolfsburg.
The 33-year-old signed a three-year deal after passing a medical and he is expected to take over from Danijel Subasic as the starting shot-stopper.
Benaglio spent last eight and a half years at Wolfsburg, winning the Bundesliga trophy in his second season at the club.
He amassed a total of 261 Bundesliga appearances, while appearing in 14 Champions League fixtures.
Benaglio made 56 outings for the Switzerland national team before deciding to retire from international football after the 2014 World Cup.
