Monaco striker Ibrahima Toure has poured cold water on rumours linking him with a summer switch to the Premiership by committing his future to his current employers.
Toure, 27, has been scoring goals for fun in France’s second division, helping the French giants create an eight-point advantage at the top of the standings.
His excellent showings have not gone unnoticed, with Sky Sports reporting West Brom and Reading are keeping tabs on the talented forward.
The Senegal international, however, says he has no plans to leave Monaco in the foreseeable future.
“I love it here at Monaco, I have settled well here and the team spirit is fantastic so far,” Toure told Sky Sports.
“There are clubs after me, I am aware of that but to be honest I want to stay here and continue to score goals for Monaco.”
Ibrahima Toure came through the youth ranks at Metz, but he spent his early career in Asia, representing Chengdu, Wydad Casablanca, Persepolis, Sepahan and Ajman.
He returned to France in January 2012 to sign for Monaco and has largely impressed ever since. Toure has scored a total of 26 goals in 42 Ligue 2 appearances for the French giants.
