French daily newspaper Le Parisien has learned that two star players could leave Monaco in the coming days.
The Principality club find themselves in a difficult position after the 3-1 defeat to Valencia in the Champions League play-off first leg and they are 9/2 to qualify for the group stages.
But, with such a scenario looking increasingly unlikely, the latest reports suggest that the club will cash in on Joao Moutinho and Aymen Abdennour.
The Tunisian defender was left out of the squad for the game at Mestalla due to the fact that he nears a summer exit, while the Portuguese midfielder will be sold as well.
Both players have been linked with Europe’s top clubs in the past and they should have no shortage of offers between now and the end of the transfer window.
Monaco already have replacements in place for both footballers, meaning they probably will not be signing any new players.
