Monaco starlet Fabinho is keen on joining Premier League giants Manchester City, according to his father.
The full-back, who has mostly been used as a central midfielder this season, has largely impressed at Stade Louis II and he has been a key member of the side that currently lead the chase in French Ligue 1.
Following some scintillating performances, Fabinho is being linked with a big club move, and Monaco seem to be bracing for concrete proposals.
But, while Man Utd, Arsenal and Barcelona are also keen on his services, the youngster prefers Manchester City, or at least that is what his father has suggested.
“We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and approached by Barcelona,” Fabinho’s father told TV show J+1 on Canal +.
“We like Manchester United and Mourinho’s work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City.”
The 23-year-old, who also spent some time with Real Madrid, has been especially impressive in the last two league campaigns, bagging 11 goals in 58 Ligue 1 outings.
Monaco currently sit three points clear of holders PSG and they can be backed at 5/4 to go all the way.
