Desperate to improve their form under Thierry Henry, Monaco will be looking for their first win in Europe when they host Club Brugge to the Stade Louis II on Tuesday.
Starting with the hosts, despite bringing in Premier League Legend Thierry Henry last month, Monaco have continued to struggle and could very easily be on route to their worst finish in recent memory. Coming off the back of a lacklustre showing in their 1-0 loss away to Reims last month, the former French powerhouse have now failed to win a match in any competition since the 11th of August. Picking up their only point in the reverse fixture with the Belgian side a fortnight ago, Henry’s side have now drawn two of their last three. However, sat 19th in Ligue 1, they have not recorded a clean sheet in their last 13.
As for the visitors, while Club Brugge are proving to be an incredibly hard side to break down, the Belgian side are becoming somewhat of a draw specialist. Coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Genk in a battle of top of the table, Ivan Leko’s side have now drawn four of their last five matches across all competitions. With their last two away matches ending in a score draw, we’re backing similar results at the Stade Louis II on Tuesday.
Bet: Monaco vs Club Brugge to end in a draw 13/5 for Tuesdays Champions League showdown @ Bet 365
